Latigo is 15.2 hands of red roan hunk!!

This is the kind of horse you love to see in your barn every single day! At just 5 years old, he has the kindest demeanor with a “no none sense, not a care in the world” kind of personality. He will meet you at the gate every single day to go do whatever job you ask of him and have the most perfect manners while doing it! Latigo ground ties, loads himself in the trailer, and will back out like your old, seasoned veteran. He is an old soul and one that we absolutely adore! Latigo is a dream to have around and always gets along great with every horse you put him with.

Latigo has been employed full time as a ranch horse in the Texas panhandle where he has acquired all of those iconic ranch horse manners, we all know and love so much. He has been used to doctor and ship cattle his whole life. He is incredibly quiet around traffic, heavy machinery, semis, dogs, pigs, and all the chaos you can throw at him.

He will pitter patter jog or long trot on a long-draped rein and cover the country. He has a long stride and has a beautiful rocking chair lope. Latigo guides around willingly and as light as a feather and yields off leg pressure nicely. This is a very fun and easy to operate gelding! He has safely packed a 6yr old little girl through the Palo Duro Canyons and through Town for a Sunday ride, he crosses water, brush and all other obstacles with ease and confidence!
