May Strike Bar AKA Kit is a 2014 AQHA buckskin gelding standing 15.1 hands. This is one nice horse. His as pretty as the mountain sunset, steady as the rock of Gibraltar, and as dependable as the tide. He loves people and will gladly meet you at the gate for a day of work or watch over your shoulder at a picnic lunch. He was used in a number of trail clinics taking care of many different level riders in the Wyoming hills and they all loved him! Kit has been used in all aspects of ranch work and he has never embarrassed us or let us down. We have used Kit to teach novice ropers how to rope and he is the perfect instructor and keeps them safe while still allowing them to enjoy a well-trained and responsive horse, in other words he is safe without being a deadhead. Kit has a soft responsive mouth and responds respectfully with the lightest of pressure he will move off your leg in any direction you ask him and has a beautiful side-pass. He is the perfect show partner on Saturday, trail partner on Sunday, and he will show up for work on the ranch Monday morning with smile on his face (I don’t know if you have noticed it or not but I absolutely love this horse!) He has been on pack trips in the mountains all of his life, he hobbles, highlines and has led pack strings. Kit is very well mannered on the ground, he is easy to catch, stands to be saddled, loads like a pro, and is easy to shoe.
