Laid back, gentle and kid safe is the definition of Friday! Friday as we call him is an 11 yr old 14.2 hand Gypsy Vanner gelding that is absolutely broke to the T to ride and drive. He rides English or western and is safe enough for the whole family. I would say anybody from age 5 to 95 could get along with him. Friday was imported from Europe as a yearling and sadly his owner from the past 10 years passed away. Friday has been used for carriage rides in town and was used on trails up in the mountain. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is super gentle and friendly with time off. He is stout enough to carry about any size rider and takes care of them. Friday has a smooth walk, trot, canter and he will pick up both his leads. Friday is the type of horse you can get out and go ride when you are having a bad day. We have exposed him to all kinds of obstacles, bouncing balls, flappy tarps, dogs, big trucks, and about anything you can think of and he takes it all in stride, Friday stands to tack up, mount and for the farrier. He also stands to be bathed and clipped. He is up to date on farrier, wormer, and all routine maintenance. Friday sells 100% traffic safe and sound with no vices.
