Take a look at this drop dead gorgeous Friesian Gelding. He has that true fairytale Friesian look that you see in movies and magazines. Foaled in 2009. FHANA registered Friesian gelding. This gelding is purebred and was imported directly from the Netherlands. He has been in the same place for the past 4 years so we do know this horse inside and out. He is just absolutely breathtaking from every angle and everyone that ever sees him is always in complete awe of Djurre. I always say if you don’t like him then you don’t like horses. He has up to 3rd level dressage training. You can ride him English, western and even go down the trails. Walks, trots, canters, good brakes, stands and backs. He responds to all cues and will canter right off on the correct lead every single time. Frames up beautifully and has so much animation under saddle. He will side pass across the arena both ways. If you want to just ride him on a nice loose rein as a pleasure horse he’ll do that to. Stands at the mounting block like a statue for both mounting and dismounting. He really is a push button ride that’ll make whoever is on his back look pretty darn good. Rides with more whoa than go And is a horse that can have time off because there has been a time or two where he has up to two months off due to not having time to ride. This horse has so much class and one thing is for certain this gelding knows he is absolutely gorgeous. When he stands he stands there so proud and I honestly don’t blame him one bit. He is a wonderful horse to be around and is the first one to greet you always. Djurre has that typical super sweet in your pocket personality that this breed is known for. He loves kids and is around our 2 year old little boy every day. Drops his head to him and will take all the attention he can get. He is an absolute gem to ride and has been a pleasure to own. Has been shown and always did very well in the show ring. He was broke to drive and driven in the Netherlands but hasn’t been driven since coming to the US. I’m sure if that’s the direction you want to go in he’ll go right back to it. Djurre is good for every level rider and has been the kind of horse I have even put friends and family on.
