Cheeko, as we call him, is a 6yr old 15 hand buckskin Quarter Horse gelding we have owned for a whole year. We bought Cheeko a year ago out in Montana where he was used on a ranch. I remember the first time I set eyes on him and I thought I had to own him. We brought Cheeko with us back to PA and have used him as a trail horse and used him to do odd jobs like checking fences and running errands ever since.

We have taken Cheeko on miles of trails up in the mountains and down the main highway and he does not mind traffic at all.

Cheeko neck reins, side passes and picks up both his leads and has a great stop. Cheeko rides in the arena and outside it makes no difference to him. He goes through water, over logs and crosses bridges with no problem. We have exposed Cheeko to flapping tarps and bouncy balls he takes it all in stride. Cheeko has also been exposed to all kinds of obstacles and wildlife which he does not mind any of. Cheeko stands to be bathed, tacked and untacked also stands to be mounted. He rides the same every day and does great with time off. Cheeko is up to date with dewormer, farrier and had his teeth done on 12.2.22 . He has good feet and has never taken a lame step for us.
