Drop dead gorgeous, jet-black gelding. Fancy in so many ways. There’s not much Black Velvet hasn’t seen or done.

Catch him where you find him, throw your saddle on and go. He is all business and will help you get any job on the ranch done. Black Velvet has a ground covering walk that is smooth and easy to ride all day. Great in big country, from the wide-open desert to the high timbered mountains, he’s seen it. He crosses water great, knows how to follow the trail, and goes down steep hills extremely well. Black Velvet is tough and will go all day for you without having to kick on him. We have lead pack mules, and he is great in the lead. When it comes to cattle work, he’s very seasoned from doctoring yearlings to branding calves and sorting. Black Velvet is cowy and super handy at all of it.

In the arena he is a seasoned head horse that has won money all over the northwest and Arizona. He’s been hauled to lots of World Series ropings and a few rodeos. Black Velvet has lots of run, good rate and is strong on the horn. This horse will help you win!
