Big Red comes by his name honestly. But he’s truly the sweetest horse with a big calm eye. Big Red is always super easy to catch and absolutely loves people. Any attention you give him he soaks in.

Big Red is the definition of how a horse should be broke. He was started as a Reiner and has been shown in the youth classes. He lopes perfect circles and catches his leads effortlessly. He spins both ways and will come to a sliding stop. He’d be a great step up horse for a kid wanting to get started. He’d also be a really fun weekend horse for an elderly person wanting to go have fun. Big Red is very smooth and has a rocking chair lope. He’s one you can ride all day an not be sore when you get off.

Big Red is great in the arena, but he’s also had a job on the ranch. We’ve checked miles of fence with all of the recent storms blowing through. Big Red has penned cattle and doctored yearlings in our heifer development program. We’ve used him at the sale barn sorting cattle and loading trucks. He’s great to open and close gates on. There’s no job too big or small and he’s always up for the task. Our little boy has ridden him for hours on end and the sale barn and absolutely has a blast on him.
