Carmel is a beautiful amber dun champagne 2 year old stallion. If you have not been around a champagne colored horse yet, they simply glimmer in the summer sunshine. Champagnes are a dilute gene, that has only been identified in the last 10 years. There are very few of them to date, and are considered to be very rare at this time. Carmels color code is as follows- Ee,AA,N/Ch,N/D. This means, he is a double dilute, and therefor, will be a very high color producer.I have owned this horse since the fall of his weanling year. I showed him as a yearling and 2 year old in 3 and under halter geldings/stallions at our highly competitive WRPHC summer horse show series. He was the hi-point halter horse in that class for the past 2 years. This colt stands 15.1 in December of his 2 year old year, and will mature from 15.2 to 15.3 hands like his sire. His sire, Looken For Luke, is an AQHA halter point earning sire with very few foals to show. His grandsire My Skip Vanzi, is a World Champion producer. The bottom side of his pedigree goes to the famous Zan Parr Bar as well as the AQHA champion producing sire Blondys Dude.Carmel is very easy to handle, and we have 5 mares bred to him for the spring of 2013. These mares consist of 4 grulla mares and 1 blue roan mare. He is offered for sale simply because we have 2 other champagne stallion also. Carmel is one of the nicest champagne stallions on the market today. N/N all disorders. We also have several other champagnes for sale at this time.
