Wonderful Trail Horse

Mr Red Moondust is a 15 y.o. QH gelding. Cute Chestnut with lots of roaning, and a star. He is quiet and sweet. Currently in a therapeautic riding program for adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. He stands quietly for basketball & ringtoss, opening the mailbox, grooming, tacking, mounting, etc. He's been a wonderful addition to our program and has allowed our riders to learn the wonderful joy of trailriding! That's where Red's heart is- on the trails. He would prefer to be outside exploring nature instead of going around and around the ring at a walk with so many different riders. He's looking for an adult who would like to w/j/lope along leisurely and enjoy themselves. He is 100% sound, no vices, very good ground and saddle manners. We did do an autism program and so many small children running up to his face waving their hands caused him to back up a little, so he'd probably be more comfortable with a teenager on up who is a strong beginner or intermediate rider. He isn't super fast, so won't be a barrel horse, he's just a great trail horse but could do the english/western 4H events also. All shots utd, shoes on fronts only. Very solid feet. No health issues.
