Finely tooled Western Saddle. Made in Amarillo Texas by Potts Imberton in the early 1950's. (Please note that the brand is NOT B & B. I had to select one of the listed brands in order to post this ad.) Bought by user/rider in Jackson Hole, Wyoming around 1952. Used by rider weighing about 150 pounds. The saddle weighs about 30 pounds as pictured. All leather. Seat is 5" . Cantle height 4". Swell about 5"; post 2"; cap 7"; skirt length 15". Saddle was used in Idaho until it was brought to Virginia by daughter about 15 years ago during which time it has remained unused in storage. Leather is in very good condition--smooth and no cracks. Stirrups are wood covered with brass and bottom boot area is covered with leather. I am helping the daughter, who has had to go to assisted living, sell the saddle. A Wyoming dealer estimated the value to be at least $1200. If the saddle needs to be shipped we will need to agree how to cover that expense.
