Scarborough's Rainy Day "Rainy" DOB Oct 5, 2004 14.1 hand (Large Pony) Black Mare with 4 white socks, blaze, and snip. VERY STOUT Cob type Section D with elegance. Sired by Sydenham Nocturne, LOM and out of an Okeden Telenor, LOM daughter(also a Sydenham Nocturne granddaughter) Exceptional Pedigree that passed onto Rainy in every way: Temperment, Movement, and Elegance!! Very talented and beautiful movement. Trully a natural at everything she does and is very intellegent! Was started by Wendy Stephens of Vivian, LA after I purchased her as a 2 year old. In 2007 at Katy Texas she was reserve Conformation champion and in 2008 we were Centeral English Division Champion at the Double judged gold show in Tusla, OK. She also was in the placings in Western pleasure, western conformation, ect. at that show. After limited time over 2.5 foot fences, we showed at a local show and did extremly well, and even took high point in one division and reserve in another. She has been over 3 foot fences and takes them with ease. She also side passes, drags logs, crosses water, tarps, ect. Everything needed to compete in western trail class. Rainy is very responsive to leg cues and half passes elegantly. She has had a lot of riding time, but since in college, my time is short, so she has had about a 8 month break and I have decided to sell her because I just don't have the time she deserves. She would be an awesome kids horse, as she is so responsive, intellegent, NO buck, NO rear, NO kick and NO spook. She has been ridden a few times recently by a inexperienced 16 year old that I was helping out some. Rainy always wants attention and is a very easy keeper. She doesn't wear shoes, but was hot shod once and didn't fuss. Her feet are very hardy on our rocky Missouri soil. She also will bow and put her front legs on a pedistal and stretch out a front leg on cue. She has been limited on her show career due to my lack of time, but has GREAT potential, and a GREAT show record out of limited showing. I have lots of pictures of her and she MUST go to a GREAT home. This is a very special horse and I want her to go to a home where she will be used!!
