14 year old grade mare. Goldie is approx. 15.1/15.2 hands tall. She is friendly and easy to catch. Stands tied, trailers, stands for the farrier. The only vice we have found is that she will crib if she is bored (she is not a frequent cribber, but will if she is stalled with nothing to do). Goldie stands for tacking up and also rides bareback. She is well broke to ride. She is responsive under saddle, neck reins well and stops easily. Goldie is fun to ride, traffic safe and not spooky. I think she would be too responsive and a little too much horse for a complete beginner but if the rider has some confidence and basic riding skills she could be a good fit.
I listed her color as other because I am not quite sure what to call her. She is close to the color of a red dun, with no dun markings. Paler than a normal chestnut, almost a gold champagne color but without the other characteristics of a champagne. The photo doesn't show her actual color well. Kind of a unique looking mare.
