Aged (20+ years old) grade Appaloosa gelding. Piscado is approx. 14.2 hands tall. He is a former riding stable horse and is well broke to ride. He was ridden by a middle-school aged girl the last 2 years, she is now ready to move up so Piscado is looking for a home. Piscado has good ground manners and is easy to catch. Stands tied, stands for tacking up and mounting. He will ride out alone but is happiest when ridden with another horse. Piscado will lead or follow, neck reins, stops easily and backs. He has many years of trail riding experience and has been overnight camping and ridden at Pillsbury State Forest. He was also taken to a groundwork class this spring and did very well. He is sound and healthy though he has slightly limited vision in his left eye due to an old injury. Piscado is not spooky and has great feet. He is current on shots for 2013. He is a solid trail horse and would be best suited to an intermediate rider. As he is an older gelding he does need to be grained throughout the winter months to maintain his weight. Piscado is a good looking horse, liver chestnut with snowflakes and is in very good shape. Call or email for more info/pics.
