I found 2 horses online at Dogwood Valley Foxtrotters. My family converted to Foxtrotters after feeling the glide and decided we were never going back to another breed. I will say that the experience with this group was nothing but first class. I was invited and encouraged to come see the ranch and ride these guys, which told me a lot about the confidence in the breed lines and approach these people have. Terri, Trey, and Charlie met me one brisk morning at the ranch and accommodated me for a couple of hours through all types of terrain. They explained their process of breaking and training these horses and what they look for.....etc. They do it right. No harsh approach or too early getting them started. They knew almost all of the heard (105 at that time) by name and seemed to have a great bond with them all. The feeling was clearly that they loved what they did and when you love what you do, you are usually pretty good at it. These horses are smooth as glass and their demeanor is fantastic. This ranch has been working this blood line for quite some time and the Knox family has really done a nice job with the owners of the ranch, the Coales. We have completed our heard in Texas with two of the finest all around Foxtrotters I have been around. So, if you are interested in a great sweet calm blood line that has plenty of go in it and smooth as silk ride, I recommend Dogwood Valley Foxtrotters for your next family friend. And as they say there, "ride the glide"
