Bella is a very quiet, gentle, easy to handle 14-year-old 13.2hh Fjord cross Palomino Pony Mare. She is excellent on the ground and safe for anyone to easily handle. When you ask her to stand she plants her feet and does not move until asked. Knows her job! Does not spook easy or get worked up. When you first hop on her after not riding for a little bit, she likes to trot out. She's a little overweight right now... loves her food! Definite easy keeper! Kids can catch her, lead her, and ride her. She is content to go slow on trail rides while following other horses. She's not spooky at all and has been used for boy and girl scout camps. She is ready to baby sit in the arena and would be great for a kid to show HUS. It is okay to put a child or the most novice rider on her back for a lead ride. Bella rides English or Western. She has beautiful HUS movement with a gorgeous extended trot and a push button canter! No bite, rear, kick, or buck in her. She is near the middle of the pecking order with other horses and loves making friends. She leads, loads, ties, trailers. Stands in crossties or hitching post. Good with riding around other horses with a lot of commotion or alone. Sometimes a little difficult to catch but we usually bring out some grain and she's alright. Very Easy to Bridle and Stands still for saddling and mounting. She does not have any faults in his handling or training. She will perform according the ability of her rider. Always picks up correct lead. Walk/Trot/Canter/Stop/Backup Bella has been ridden by numerous beginner riders and children during walk/trot and canter lessons in the arena. She is quiet and calm. She'll be a real competitor in the show ring and has been used at a couple of shows when she was younger. Make her your 4-h horse! Does not usually shy from anything. She would be a great pony for a family with kids. Sound in Mind & Body. Very clean legs. Has seen it all! Been used in parades! Not afraid of Camels, buffalo, ostrich, dogs, chickens, zebra, etc. (we have an exotic animal farm) Good for vet and farrier. Great with picking up her feet. Very sweet temperament. And she is quick to make friends, especially if a new rider gives her treats. Good with water! Priced to sell!
