This is a very smart, quiet, sensible 2 yr old gelding. As of November 20, 2012 he has had 60 days of training and knows more than most horses with only 60 days. Walk/Trot/Canter with ease and with collection. Moves off of leg in all three gaits. "Scotch" is extremely clean on his spins and should spin a hole in the ground when finished. Sits down deep on his stops. He has been taken to the Miller Colliseum and was used in a riding clinic at the Tennessee State Fair in Nashville with only two weeks of riding and was extremely quiet. Showed in his first 4-H show on November 17, 2012 by a 10 yr old girl and won the walk/trot hunt seat class and placed 3rd in the walk/trot western pleasure. Was shown by myself in the walk/trot/canter ranch riding class and took 1st. No matter where you take "Scotch" he knows that he has a job and NOTHING spooks him. Never has to be lunged even after having a week off. His sire was never shown, but his full uncle sold at auction as a rope horse for $10,000 a few years ago. "Scotch" is a very athletic and versitile horse and should go on to win under any discipline from the 4-H cercuit both English/Western, to Reining, Roping, Working Cow, ASHA, or Ranch horse.
