I have a sweet, gentle, absolutely beautiful palomino for sale, affectionately named Mia. Mia is the
kind of horse many dream about but seldom have the opportunity to own. She loves people and loves
to be handled and petted. She is not pushy, she waits patiently to be loved on. Mia is very kind and
respectful with excellent ground manners, always conscious of what her handlers and riders want. Mia
is absolutely gorgeous both inside and out. There is not even a hint of an attitude with this mare, she
behaves like a gelding. I have never seen her look irritated or bothered by anything, she is always respectful and kind. This horse wants to please, and has an all business
attitude when she is being ridden or handled. There is no sour or silly behavior, she is a very well
behaved and well trained horse. She tries very hard to do what her rider asks, the moment it is asked,
and she is very responsive with an 'I will do it right now' attitude that couldn't possibly be any better.
Mia gets along with all people and horses, and never shows anything but a pleasing spirit. Mia even
shares her feed peacefully. Mia is very well trained and responsive. She can and will do anything that is asked of her. She is bold and willing, never balks, always does what her rider wants. Mia does nice rollbacks, she does sliding stops, she rides in a nice collected frame with a lot of
hindquarters power, she rides collected or on a loose rein, and she neck reins and direct reins. Mia pivots, does a slow spin, side passes, half passes, does flying lead changes, backs quickly for several feet, holds her gaits, does perfect circles, has great lateral and vertical flexion, and is forward moving. This mare loves to work and is up for any challenge. She can be roped off of, she is working well on the barrel and pole patterns and all speed events. She has plenty of speed, agility and
excellent coordination and would make an exceptional speed events horse with her great brain, responsiveness, speed, and wonderful temperament. Mia is patterned and is a fantastic ride. I love this mare and I am very impressed with her mind, her athleticism and speed. Mia doesn't tire and will keep working until you ask her to quit. Mia is willing and responsive, with a right now kind of attitude. No dullness
to her, she is always ready to respond to what is asked of her with light cues. She is very well controlled and does not get worked up and she will not run off. She is extremely well broke. Mia was used as a ranch horse so there is no silliness or attitude, just an excellent riding partner. Mia has been
thoroughly desensitized to every type of stimuli that I can think of and nothing rattles or spooks her.
Mia is proficient at Clinton Andersen's "The Method, Advanced Level" training system Her groundwork is excellent and she does it willingly. This mare is an excellent trail riding horse and is trustworthy and trouble free to go
riding down the road to the comer store for a drink, along railroad tracks, in the hills, swimming in the
lake, through heavy brush where we push through to make our own paths, and she will carry a flag and pull a person on a boogie board through the sand and the water. Mia rides well in a halter and bareback as well. This is a multi-talented horse. Everyone who rides Mia really enjoys her, she is so fun to ride. Mia stays very well broke and is great whether you ride her every day or once every couple months. No need to run her down before riding, not even on a chilly day, she knows her job and is all business. This pretty mare is best suited for someone who has some riding experience, on up to pro level riders who will really enjoy her strength, speed, athleticism, responsiveness, and agility. Mia is currently being ridden by an 8 year old girl practicing gymkhana/playday events. Mia is up to date on vaccinations, teeth floating, hoof trimming, and deworming. She is an easy keeper and does not require anything but a vitamin and mineral supplement and hay or grass pasture. Mia loads, unloads, and travels perfectly in the trailer and she stands tied quietly. She is excellent for the vet and farrier and is a pure pleasure to own and ride. To a good home only, as this horse deserves to be loved and cherished. Please contact for more pictures.
