Mel has been with me being conditioned for the past month and is an excellent trail horse. She stands about 14.2 and is a stout built little mare who is put together very nice with a "baby doll" head. She is a palomino and white paint with palomino on her head and face, and half a blue eye on the right side. She flexes well and neck reins, and will move off your leg. Goes everywhere on the trail. Enjoys taking the lead but can get a little pushy if left in the back. Very smooth traveling with an awesome little foxtrot and a 3-beat canter. Very brave. Have taken her all over Blue & Gray Park and through our "obstacle" course here at Sitter Downs. Didn't hesitate about anything, even our cowboy curtain which was blowing in the 30 mph windgusts today. She also enjoys jumping over random things (man-made jumps, logs and other obstacles) but will walk through a mudhole, or over an obstacle when you ask her to. I think she is smart and willing enough for trail competitions. She also goes bareback. She is registered with the Spotted Saddle Horse Association, #10300443. Her registered name is "Rita's Champagn and Ice". I am selling her for one of my customers. This is her extra horse that she doesn't have time for and wants to go to someone who can use her. This mare is easy to catch, loves attention and has been a blast to work with. Would work well for an intermediate to experienced rider as she will pick up and go if you ask her to.
