Spirit is a genuine registered pintabian. He is over 99% arabian in blood and is also registered half-arabian (7A) and pending pinto. We have slowed down breeding and always planned to use this lovely boy more, but so far we have only bred him a few times. All the mares have taken on their first cycle. We have been very impressed with the quality of his foals. He gives them his excellent disposition, beautiful type and really nice hind ends. Spirit does have an injury from a bowed tendon that we could never get to fully heal, so he has never been put under saddle though he is breeding and pasture sound. We are hoping that his son in Australia will start showing soon to help us prove Spirit through the ring. Trademark Flair (last two photos) was exported to Australia as a yearling, the photos were taken right before he left. His first daughter was sold to start a pintabian program in Kansas (3 from last photo). We would love to keep this boy, but since we are taking a break from breeding we are offering him for $6,000 with reserved breedings and payment options. He is SCID/LFS/CA clear! Heterozygous for Tobiano. Spirit is also a Rabicano and has passed it on to all three of his kids. We hand breed Spirit with no problems and have also pasture bred him.
