Experienced trail horse, also used to give lessons, and has been camping. Has some show and gaming experience, does really well at lead changes while pole bending. Never pushed into a full gallop since I was giving kids riding lessons on him. Very smooth and comfortable ride. Ridden almost entirely western, neck reins, minimum or no leverage bit, soft mouth, very responsive to leg cues. No health or soundness issues. No vices, great ground manners, loves attention, will stand tied for long periods (but has untied himself and stands where he was tied). Walks right into trailers without being led in, good with feet, UTD on shots, worming and has current negetive coggins. Herd boss but isn't aggressive to other horses, has laid ears back at a strange horse on one occassion when they had gotten between him and his herd on a trail. Other than that one time, has never been bothered by being with unfamiliar horses. **Best for intermediate riders outside of controlled areas (arena/roundpen) since he does shy at times (his only problem), doesn't bolt, buck or rear. **Too many horses and not enoungh time to ride/work them all. Have owned him his whole existance. Lightning is wanting some attention and a riding partner.
