Gus is a trail horse that will go over, thru, in, under, anything you point him at. He would make great gaming prospect. He is very quick and agile. He would require a assertive rider. Gorgeous horse with a rocking horse lope and a smooth trot. He is very flashy. I will consider a trade offer for a laid back mellow horse that would enjoy solo riding. Great home offered and a Great home a must for Gus or I will keep him until one is found. I do have a short not great video of Gus on you tube it is titled Gus 2004 Well broke trail gelding. I really like this boy but he is just too much horse for me. I need a horse more suited for a less then confident rider. Believe me this has been a hard decision to sell him. My trainer loves him and would buy him herself for a barrel horse but has a few two many herself. She has offered to take him for me in the spring and use him. If not sold before then he will be worked on the barrel pattern and his price will be much higher. When I bought Gus I thought he was used for small kids and inexperienced riders... I later found out from his original owner that Gus is a great trail horse and refuses nothing out on trails and is not at all easy to spook but he is not for a timid rider. When my friend was riding him there were people sighting in their guns and they must have shot off at least 30 rounds across the road from us and Gus never jumped once. It didn't faze him at all.
