Gentle Jonathan, born June 20, 2012, looks like he will turn out to be all black, a tiny Black Beauty. His head, legs and coat are already a shiny black (winter coat on the pictures is gone now). No white on him. He has a refined head and a trim little body.He is strong and healthy and very mild tempered.
His mom is a 33 in. chocolate palomino, his dad a 33 1/2 in. double registered red roan stallion, son of a national champion. Mom is registered too but her papers were lost before she came here.
He's very smart and adaptable. Even as young as he is, he is progressing in manners training, has learned not to bite or kick and not to be spooked by unexpected sounds or movements.
He loves to run and play and explore and try things out.
He is so much fun; curious about and into everything; adventurous and full of antics.
He is uptodate on vaccinations, hoof trimming, deworming and coggins report.
He's so calm, it's therapeutic just to be around him. He seems like he would be very good with children; a physically challenged child; or a senior who could use some company and entertainment.
He loves to eat! Don't worry. Minis don't eat much compared to a regular horse -- about two cups of feed 2x a day. They don't take up much space either.
Why not come and meet Jonathan and see how he might fit into your family?
A good home is a must!!
