If you are looking for peace of mind while your kids learn to ride, this is your horse. Dynamite is a small, older, sweet tempered kids horse. He's been used for everything over the years. He's used to being ridden by kids and is used to dogs. We've ridden him in parades and in the mountains and one of my sons swings a rope while on him all the time. He's put on quite a few miles in grizzly and wolf country with no spook. All my kids learned to ride on him. He' s 24 years old but in great health and great flesh. He has many usable years ahead of him. He neck reins well and stops well and is used to being ponied. We've hobbled him in the mountains with no problems. He does have ringbone, which limits his ability to take longer rides in the mountains, but which makes him great for teaching beginners because he will not buck or run off. He crosses water with no problem and is used to cattle. In his younger days he was a youth rodeo horse running barrels, goat tying, and pole bending and has been used in all the events in Gymkhanas. Bathes, shoes, loads, catches, saddles easily. No bad habits with Dynamite. We're looking for a good home for him since my kids have outgrown him.
