Teddy is about 11 years old, he was found abandoned covered in mats and stickers. We think he was used as a roping mini and has a breathing problem problem from the rope closing in on his neck. He has scars on his legs and sides of his body where he may have been drug and roped. He hated people when we got him he wouldn't even come in for food. He has made big progress while with us but is still a little leary of new people. He is small but thinks he is big stuff! We would recommend if in a family with kids they be older as he is still shy sometimes and can not be chased or ridden. His ideal home would be a home with no children as a buddy for one of two low key horses. He can't run for long periods of time or fight with other horses as it causes breathing distress. He does know what treats are now, gets his feet done and with patience tolerates fly spray. He is a cute little stinker and we think in the right forever family setting he could blossom even more.
