Highly popular Passier dressage saddle which is com-fortable for the horse as well as offering the rider a particularly soft seat. The GG Extra has, for example, won over top riders Remy Issartel, Julia Chevanne and Anna Paprocka-Campanella by means of its comfortable deep seat, 1 cm thicker thigh supports, which make it very easy to keep the rider's legs in place, as well as by the freedom panels which are particularly comfortable for the horse.
Passier Nicole's Grand Gilbert. Serial number stamped in leather. This saddle was used frequently for several years, then intermittently for the last 5 years. Color is black, saddle has a 17.5 inch seat (extra deep version), Wide/ Extra Wide tree. The saddle may be custom adjusted by a qualified saddle fitter so this can be used for years on a multitude of horses or can be adjusted as your horse changes and grows. The saddle has not been adjusted.
The condition of this saddle is very good. This is a used saddle. It shows moderate use with the usual wear. It has a minor scrape on the cantle which is hardly noticeable. Tree is sound. The leather has been regularly cleaned and conditioned so the leather is very nice, soft and supple. Kept in a climate controlled environment when not in use. This is a very comfortable saddle for both horse and rider. It has a cutback pummel to allow for higher wither horses. This has a moderate thigh block which supports my leg nicely but also allows me to move my leg a little as needed. I have used this on a different horses from Friesians to Warmbloods. I love this saddle and have won many prizes with this saddle. I no longer own horses so I need to sell this saddle. I paid $3600 for this saddle.
