    SUPER GENTLE AND GORGEOUS!
    ***You pick his registered name! (read below) I have had this horse in my program for 7 months and one thing is for sure about Bruiser... He is gentle, gentle, gentle. He is the epitome of my super gentle horses program. This horse has the kind of disposition that you can just go step on him and go for a trail ride and NOTHING bothers him. He goes out alone with confidence or in a group; doesn't care of he is first or last; never jigs or gets nervous. He will drop his head line out and walk in all types of surroundings. I have ridden him on trail rides from my house in the city, he has been ridden down the sidewalk of a 6 lane street with heavy traffic and up to Circle K; I have had a running street sweeper pass by him, nothing bothers him. He has been hauled to the Salt River and the San Tan Mountain Park; he has been hauled to large events such as barrel races (not to compete, just to ride around). He always is quiet and gentle even when left alone tied at the trailer. There has been times over the last 7 months that I have got busy and Bruiser has went unridden for a month and he stayed gentle. You can stall him away from other horses and he does not get buddy sour or whinny, he seems content by himself. Bruiser had a lot of cattle experience prior to me owning him and was started roping the lead steer. He is very quiet and laid back, but easy to wake up if you are looking for a performance horse. He has a wonderful disposition, always tries to please. He is never grumpy or grouchy, always friendly and nice to be around. He is well mannered and stands quietly for the farrier and to bathe, groom, clip, and tack up. He gets along with other horses well, a little playful but never mean in any way. He has no vices what so ever, the only thing that he needs work on is standing still to mount. Until this month Bruiser has mainly been ridden by kids here. The kids have let him get in the habit of walking off when you mount, so I am now working on it. He is better, but I haven't completely fixed it yet. I absolutely love this horse because he is so gentle. If you watch the video below, everything you see is the first time for Bruiser... The first time he ever saw a tarp, ball and carried a flag. First time he was ever ridden down a steep hill and in the water. The girl riding Bruiser in the video is 13 years old (and she is 6' tall!) This horse comes straight from the breeder/owner who raised him. Bruiser was well started but due to his owners work schedule, just kind of slipped through the cracks and didn't get ridden much at all the last few years. To me, he is kind of just a big colt still. He could still use a little finishing but he is smart, tries to please and learns really quick. I have been riding Bruiser myself, he is loping nice circles, sidepasses, starting to slide stop and is getting soft in the bridle. He has a smooth slow jog and a nice lope. I can't really say much bad about Bruiser, he is such a nice gentle horse and is absolutely stunning to look at! A solid 15.1 hands, 1100 lbs. Bruiser is a real sweetheart. * Note about Bruisers mane... his mane was rubbed out in the middle section when I got him in November. His mane has grown back and is 10" long in the shortest section in the middle. It grew 10" in 7 months! His mane is 27" at his shoulder, so there is no doubt in my mind that Bruisers mane will be long an beautiful by the end of this year. ***Registration - I know the people that raised Bruiser, and I know his entire history. Bruiser was never registered; they meant to register him, but just never sent in the paperwork. I have acquired the original breeders certificate and it is signed by both the mare and stallion owner; I also have a signed transfer.
