"Allie" was professionally started under saddle by Andy Marlette. She was started western, but could go hunter pleasure as well - maybe even classic. She is the sweetest, kindest, most affectionate mare ever. She dotes on attention and tries her hardest to please. She is extremely willing. Both her parents hold World Titles in park - and Allie is athletically talented, too, but she isn't "hot". Her sire also is a WC In Hand - and has produced numerous In Hand (World Champions and Sweepstakes winners) in hand and in all divisions of performance.
Allie has also been trail ridden safely and her wonderful dispostion helped her to refuse nothing we pointed her at. She rode along busy roads, went through puddles and streams, over downed trees, through mud, and didn't spook at any of the woodland creatures we sent scurrying as we rode past. She loads/hauls safely, is excellent for the vet or farrier to work on, she leads and ties safely, stands to be groomed and tacked-up, stands to mount, is easy to catch. Allie is just a super great mare. I'm serious about downsizing my collection of Morgans or I would happily retain this wonderful mare. Her price is a reflection of my need to sell her, certainly not an indication of her value. There are dozens of photos on my website: www.AncanMorgans.com. She is shown barefoot in all photos.
