Stunning 2006 Icelandic Mare

Asonja fra Hestar, stunning liver chestnutish Icelandic mare. She has a gorgeous blonde mane and cool brindling on her legs. She is about 13.1-2, easy to catch and built like a tank. She is green broke ( Icelandics are usually started at 4 at the earliest, but I like leaving them until 5 or 6). She walks forward, stops, turns both directions, around obstacles as well. I have rode her in the large round pen and huge arena, as well as between the two. She is a little bit on the nervous side but I believe she will get better and better with more hours. She does need a confident and experienced rider though. Her sire, Hegri fra Skalakoti and dam, Hilma fra Sigmundarstodum were both imported from Iceland to our breeding farm. She can be registered no problem. The last photo is a year or two old, hence why her mane is so much shorter. It is just the best confo shot I had. This is a beautiful mare and will make an awesome horse for someone wanting a project horse. $3000 OBO
