Absolutely stunning cremello, registered Missouri Foxtrotter Mare. 14.3 hands. Pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/sunshines+white+shadow
Started right with ground work, desensitizing, sensory training, flexing and mileage. Cassie will flex with ease and give to pressure. She will lounge either direction, face up, respect your space and disengage her hind quarters or forequarters. Her desensitizing includes: tarps, buckets, umbrellas, ropes, teeter totters, loud noises, traffic, wagons, dogs and other farm critters.
Stands to be groomed, for hoof care, saddling, mounting and dismounting. Under saddle she will collect, flex, back, walk off when asked or gait. She bathes, ties, loads. She is up to date on hoof care, deworming, vaccinations and has a neg. coggins in hand ready to go!
It wouldn't take much to have her side passing and doing more advanced lateral work.
No pasture issues with other horses or mules. No bad habits or issues. Easy to catch and handle.
She has been on many trail rides in large and small groups and will ride off by herself. She will lead, follow or ride in the middle of the pack. Been on organized rides on the road, wagons included. Traffic safe! Cars, trucks, motorcycles, doesn't pay it any attention. She is not a nervous or spooky kind of horse. If she sees something that she is unsure about she will cat leg and freeze in place, after she checks it out she no longer pays it any attention. She has been used for trail cutting and is OK with chopping and cutting limbs, pulling brush and vines down or out of the way. She will cross creeks small or large and has been ridden out in the pond bareback and taken for a swim.
Cassie has been lightly worked over obstacles including tarps, bridges, small jumps, logs, step ups and declines. With a little more training she should excel in obstacle challenges or Extreme Cowboy Racing. She has a calm mind and doesn't get fired up and could handle the pressure of obstacles and speed.
Cassie's nice smooth gait will make her a pleasure to ride in any situation for any person. Take her down the trails or down the road! Owners have put riders with limited riding and skills on her for trail rides and fun days around the farm. With her easy going personality and well mindedness she is a safe for about anyone that knows just a little about how to ride.
She would be an excellent mount for someone needing a nice smooth ride that doesn't jar you to death. She will walk along with a quarter horse or gait on down the road with the gaited group.
Being she is a cremello if she is bred she should always produce a palomino or buckskin foal. For a palomino foal breed to a chestnut or sorrel. For a buckskin breed to a bay based stallion.
