    About

Junior is a home-bred QH Arab X. He is registered with Arabian Horse Assoc. Was only started under saddle last year and has been in inconsistent work since with life and weather problems. He progresses with every ride by leaps and bounds. Light to aids. He is going WTC and trail riding out by himself and in a group.

Junior has a nice barrel on him. I am 5'10" and feel very secure on him. His trot is smooth as glass.

He's a sensitive guy and would do best with a quiet rider who will foster a bond with him. He will likely be a one person horse who will do anything for his rider.

I've trailered him out twice to ride with new groups of horses and he did wonderfully. He even led part of the trail. We are working on exposure to the road.

He has a slightly clubbed foot that would benefit from corrective trimming. Otherwise, a very easy keeper. He lives out full time right now with another horse. He is timid of new people and is skeptical about new experiences. He currently doesn't like his ears being messed with and I have been working with the issue since it evolved.

Beyond being a nice trail horse, I feel in time he would enjoy doing low level jumping. He has shown a natural scope with pole work I've done and seems to enjoy working that part of his brain. If someone was gentle and calm with teaching him speed events, he would be very fast. Built well to be very agile. Been thru water and over bridges on trails. He's green, needs miles and exposure.

I really enjoy working with this horse for his owner. He's very different than any other I've worked with.

Owner has too many horses and is open to offers to appropriate home. Please contact for more info, pics or questions!
