A solid citizen. He does not let his age slow him down. Looks and acts like a 10 yr old. Has just spent the fall season riding through Maybury State Park and Kensington Park. Has done Level one Parelli, and rides trails in halter and rope. Pictures do not do justice. Is a trotter, and has nice balanced gaits. Canter needs work on collection. Sound and does not need shoes. Friendly, NO vices, ties, loads, trailers, bathes, stands for farrier without a holder. Turned out with mares and geldings without any problem. Good alone, or with company. Is not bothered by traffic. Goes over down trees, over bridges and through deep water, without any problem. Easy keeper, completely healthy. Very quiet, sweet, and loves attention and grooming. Loves to just mosey down the road and trails. He is very respectful of your personal space. Goes in a hollow mouth snaffle, and is light to the aids. Just an all-around great guy. Anyone can ride this horse, but he is best suited for an intermediate through advanced rider due to the fact that he is very responsive to the aids. Superior trail horse who has some training through training level dressage. Too many horses, not enough time. Most importantly, he must go to a good home. Just competed in the Metamora Hunt- Hunter Pace. Such a good boy.
