I am looking for the right owner who doesn't have to have a big horse to have fun and be competitive in the dressage world! Akiva has great gaits and has a big heart. Dressage is his forte and I am looking for an owner for him who is passionate about this sport. Akiva's basics are rock solid and he is ready to continue up the levels! He is currently schooling 2nd level and has all the maneuvers down! He just needs a partner who has more time. He has no vices whatsoever and is a very low maintenance horse all the way around. He is healthy and sound and always has been! We just attended a clinic and the dressage clinician said he has the collection needed for 2nd level. He has counter cantering, lateral work, shoulder and haunches-in, reinback, etc. down as well. He loads, clips, ties, bathes, stands for farrier etc. He has been trail ridden and has been to several shows, clinics, etc. and we even went trail ridden at a state park, and he does very well and always impresses! His gaits are smooth and sitting the trot is fairly easy to do on him due to his smoothness. He is friendly, affectionate, and a people-loving kind of guy. Both his sire and dam are Silver Classified imports from Austria. He has 4 videos up on you tube under Akiva HOS, dressage Haflinger for sale. I would also recommend him for CDE's! He has also had professional driving training! Versatile is his middle name and feel he would also excel in western dressage if someone so desired. He was Top 5 in the HCC awards last year in dressage. Don't miss out on this talented, competitive gelding with the best work ethic! He is uncomplicated enough for a young rider and is almost ready for USDF FEI dressage pony tests.
Hey there, I was wondering if your haflinger was still for sale? Do you have any video of him? Thank you :)
Sarah, there are 3 videos of Akiva in youtube. I will send you the links directly from there. Please note that the last video I send you is with his winter hair since it was taken just last month. I will be putting a new video together real soon showing his canter counter and his collection work. Will probably get to it this week, hopefully! If you have any questions about him, feel free to call me!
