SOLD: Sweet, kind, NO issues
SOLD: Registered name is Trigger a Golden Chance. This guy came in from a rescue situation and I agreed to find this sweetie a new home. I am just looking to place in a new home who will love on him and hopefully recover some of my vet bill paid before I have to work him and charge more for him. His value is far more then stated. I am donating his board bill, feet trim and recent worming so hopefully he sells to a great home being a sweetie before I have to start riding him too.
Trigger has been a breeding stallion for a farm but his owner is very sick and she needed to place him fast so he came here. We took Trigger before he went to the auction because he was too nice to be sold for meat.
This gelding is stable, steady, sweet and a very happy horse. He was kind as a stud and even kinder as a gelding so leads past all horses with just a halter and a lead rope. Goes in and out of the barn fine so has been a pampered pet and is not an "issue baby" He is pretty happy so he has never been abused either. Loves those apples too.
Trigger does not act like a recently gelded stallion. His swelling is now gone from being gelded so he can now have visitors. But he will need his own pen for a couple months though before putting in with other horses as he was just gelded in early October. He needs to let the testosterone leave his system which is commom sense of course.
As a trainer too I know he will make someone a very nice trail horse with some tune up under saddle. I do have the phone number for his past owner if you want to pursue getting his papers.
Trigger loads and hauls, trims, loves brushings, stands at hitching post, touch anywhere, catch easy and green broke. Likes people and attention. Will need 60 days tuneup in his riding for a beginner or intermediate riders. Has not been ridden in a while but this is a mellow horse who enjoys being worked so he will make a nice riding horse. I have found no issues with this guy and excellent ground manners. He has NO conformation faults, nice legs/feet and no health issues now that he is healing up from being gelded.
Love his sweet brains too. FYI, I will not be working him myself to sell him at this price. I am hoping he sells before I have to ride him then I will want to keep this cutie he is so easy to have around. But I have enough horses. Once I start training then his price goes way up so consider this a winter sale "as is" and you pay for his 60 day tune up needed before being ridden a lot.
The last three photos were recently taken November 2010 so you can see how handsome he is even in his winter woolies.
