Utd on shots, and worming.
Stands for the ferrier and vet. Leads, loads, ties, clips, bathes, *bonus, stands to be mounted. (I don't like it when they walk off)
Does not crib, bite, kick, or otherwise act goofy. * Is slightly ear shy and does not like fly spray.
Walks, trots and canters on cue, will back up on cue.
* Tender footed on gravel
Has been used extensively as a lesson horse, a trail horse (all over the country) in 4H as a western pleasure mount, and hunt seat, doing very well in both disciplines. She also does remarkably well in halter classes in open shows and 4H. Previous to that she was used as a contesting horse. She is more suited to the slower gaits of the hunt seat and western pleasure classes.
I have yet to see her spook at anything. She is child safe, husband safe and neighbor who thinks they know how to ride safe. When I need a babysitter I use this mare. She is the same sitting 6 months in the pasture doing nothing as she is when you ride her every day. She is happy to do either one.
I must downgrade as I have relocated to a smaller farm, and this mare is the one horse that I feel is the most marketable to find a great home. The others are a bit too "quirky" for lack of a better term to trust to anyone else. Miss Libby will get along well with anyone that is gentle and kind with her. A good home is a must and I do reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone for any reason.
