Layla is a beatiful 7 year old Reg. Tri-Colored Spotted Saddle Horse mare. She has had 3 months of professional training and 2 years of Natural Horsemanship training using Clinton Anderson Method. She just recently completed one of his 3 day clinic and did GREAT! She is an athletic horse with a great build and smart mind. Very quick to pick up on training lessons. She has a very smooth natural 4 beat saddle gait with two speeds. She gaits barefoot in a snaffle bit! I have done tons of ground work with this little lady and she is a dream and pleasure to work with. Does anything you ask of her respectfully and with a yes sir attitude! You really need to come see her in action. Layla is a people horse sweet natured not marish or moody and easy to catch. She grooms, cross ties, ground ties, baths and clips with ease. She stands quietly for farrier, vet and dentist. Loads, unloads and hauls in trailer no problem. No bad habits or vices! Easy keeper. Great feet- she been barefoot the whole time I have owned her. Sound and Healthy. She has been on camping trips and she high line ties all night no problem. Trail rides - goes over logs, water, mud, ditches, old tires and through thick brush trail blazing. Just point her in a direction and she goes. She has seen bikers, four wheelers, wild turkey, deer and had no problems. Under saddle Laya is very comfortable and willing. She works off your seat and leg well. She will stop dead off your seat on a loose rein, can side pass and backs well, all with a very light touch on the reins. She knows how to bend laterally and give to the bit and I ride her in a D-Ring snaffle, no long shank bit! I would love for Layla to go to someone who will continue working with her because she truely is a charm to work with and has done extremely well!
