Both of his parents were imported from Germany. Austin's sire is ES Empire. His dam is First Things First, daughter of First Gotthard. Austin is registered in the U.S. Hanoverian Registry. (See his Pedigree).

Siring large, typey, big-boned, athletic, balanced colts and fillies. Sired colts and fillies are very talented in dressage and jumping for the show arena, having an extreme floating trot with suspension.
