Bred by frozen semen imported from Europe. His sire is the champion eventing Trakehner stallion (Germany) "Grafenstolz TSF". Grafenstolz won the 2004 eventing Bundeschampionat with a score of 9.7! Also in 2004 Grafenstolz won the World Championships for Eventing in Lion d’angers, France, and won the KI S in Marbach in 2005. Both dressage and eventing are represented in Westwood's pedigree. Westwood's dam is a winning race mare, Wildwood Mahogany, who went on with a successful second career as a show jumper. Westwood is easy, easy, easy. Unflappable is what I would call him. The last two winners of the Rolex, (Headley Brittania and Kings Temptress), have been bred to Grafenstolz. Grafenstolz won the breeders futurity in England with his crop of 2010 foals.
