A custom made show saddle with matching breast collar and headstall. Medium to dark tooled leather. Over 70 pieces of sterling silver conchos and name plate. Made by Broken Horn Saddlery in Baldwin Park, California in 1978. Appraised in 1990's at $4000. In excellent condition. A 16" rough out seat with lovely hand tooling. It has a quarter horse tree and full rigging. Dottie Paul used it to ride in the Rose Parade, multiple times at the LA County Fair, and the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles that were held at Santa Anita Racetrack Park where she did a demonstration. Even though the saddle was made originally for her quarter horses, it also fit her two mules. Has been stored under cover in climate controlled tack room.
