Magpie is a dream of a little horse! Not only is he smart and cute as the dickens but his personality, conformation and pedigree is what you are looking for! As a six month old (now a yearling) he had already gaited and bushwacked alongside his TWH momma on numerous trail rides in the San Juan Mtns. He is sweet natured, loves attention and is great with his feet. He gives to pressure, ties, leads, tethers, loads, trailers, backs, climbs mountains, crosses water, tarps and bridges. Although he was imprinted at birth and is handled daily he is not spoiled. Magpie has excellant ground manners, and has a jump start to becoming your perfect trail horse (or anything else you train him to be...Oh yeah, he also flexes and is learning tricks for treats!) He is UTD on all vaccinations and worming. He is used to dogs and has had ropes, jackets, sheets and saddle bags draped over him. He loves people and loves to please. His registration with the Spotted Saddle Horse Association is in progress. Both his dam and sire are very sweet natured, calm horses, nicely gaited and well conformed, and are on site for viewing. I am asking $2000 but will entertain all reasonable offers. The chestnut and white is his sire.
