"Vinnie" had 19 starts and earned $52,692 and is registered as Fernbrook in the jockey club. He retired sound and non-competitive. I changed his name to Vintage Vegas. He came off the track in November of 2011 and had plenty of pasture time to relax from track life and gain weight before starting his re-training. He is a lovely mover and looks like he will be a fantastic and talented partner. This horse needs to be shown! Here is a chance to get a fancy show horse before the price tag gets too high.
He lunges well with and without side reins. He has been trail ridden alone and in a group. Has started jumping and doing great. He stays focused when working and aims to please. He is easy to ride even though he is still green and learns quickly.
He is ready to finish out his re-training with a new partner. He is very quiet, mannerly, and uncomplicated and would be a good as a first time retraining project. He is not suitable for a beginner since he is a green OTTB unless you plan to work with a trainer. He is in light training and will continue until sold.
UTD on shots, teeth, coggins. Bathes, stands for vet/farrier, cross ties and single ties, trailers fine. Not a huge fan of clippers but have never twitched or sedated to do it.

Also went on 3+ hour trail ride 12/16/12 and jumped cross country fences.

Was asking $1800 but I am open to offers to good homes/trainers. Would be an easy project for winter and ready to re-sell or show in spring. Finances force a quick sale!
