Rocco is a 15 year old Quarter Horse. He's 15 hh, sound and solid. This good looking bay gelding is a great starter horse and confidence builder. He neck reins and goes wherever you want, resistance free. He's calm and gentle on the ground and under saddle. Rocco is very tolerant and forgiving. He'll lope off from a dead stop if asked, but is also content to walk or trot if thats what you prefer. Rocco is awesome on the trails. This is the horse my 8 year old grandson takes when he goes with the men to round up other horses. As a matter of fact, Rocco is the horse that taught that same little timid fellow how to ride. He's a great working as well as leisure horse. Rocco will easily load, clip, bathe, trim, stand quiet to mount and dismount, stand quietly when hitched, trailer well, stand for the farrier, etc. This is a basic, well behaved horse at our farm.
