Roo is half TB, half Brabant. She is 16.3 bay roan and 15 yrs. She has excellent barn manners and is very sound and healthy. Quiet enough for lessons or husband horse. Forward but very calm and easy. great on trail, not at all spooky! Easy keeper, nice big gaits for dressage, beautiful conformation. Nice girl
do you still have roo for sale?
Hi Jenny, yes. She was test driven the other day by a family. She did great even after 2 mo. Rest and no lungeing. I rode her and then the family did. She was wonderful. A little frisky at first, no naughty. Then she settled down to her regular self. We rode in the yard, no fence. In snow. I sprayed oil on her feet to. Keep out snowballing. They liked her a lot but thinks 16.3 is big for their younger kids. I'm home most days. Thanks, Jenny. Lauren
I am interested in getting some information about the horse you have listed for sale. I am looking for a horse for my husband who has decided, after watching the rest of us ride, that he would like his own horse so he can ride with us! He has some but not a lot of riding experience. We also have 4 children and other animals so I would like something calm and controlled.
Hi Kelly. Roo is a nice, sane mare. Most of her experience is as a trail horse...she is brave and well exposed to obstacles and "scary" stuff. She is responsive but not a plug. She is confident to go out on her own but hasn't lately. She succeeded as a lesson horse. She is an easy keeper and has great ground manners. She hasn't been driven in 3 yrs. She is not bothered by traffic. I really need a good home for her, she is a gem! Thank you, Lauren. 608.482.3000
