Turk is a 12yr old thoroughbred gelding that we have had on our department for the last 3yrs. He was a race horse and prelim eventer prior to being donated to us so unfortunately he has some arthritis in his hocks, knee and neck. He was never fully released as a police horse due to staffing shortages and time issues. He was however used in a training class teaching new officers how to ride.
