Heidi is a beautiful Haflinger mare with a great personality. She came into our farm as a rescue horse that was very overweight and had a knee injury on her left front leg. Her leg does not lock out while she stands, and she is considered to have a level 1 lameness. Because we do not really deal with rescue horses, we are hoping to re-home her in a place where she can be loved forever. Heidi is a VERY easy keeper, and she is great with leading, loading, bathing, and tying. She is also very good for the vet and farrier. Heidi is wonderful with kids and absolutely loves to be groomed. At times, she may be used for extremely light riding over short periods of time, but we believe it would be best for her if she was used as a pasture buddy due to her knee injury. A good home is a must, and we will be asking for references.
