Dakota is an absolutely gorgous black Quarter horse gelding registered with the American Quarter Horse Association. He is black with a white star and has good conformation along with a long flowing kept mane and tail. All four hooves are in great condition and are dark in color and rock hard. He is currently being kept barefoot, but was shoed in his early years. Dakota is an "all around" good horse and has been taught many riding techniques including reckreining, jumping, trail riding, and has been ridden both english and western. Can be housed alone or with other horses, although being housed with another horse is prefered. Dakota would be great with an intermediate rider but has been ridden by very young children. The only reason the owner is selling is because she is now competing and no longer has time for him. He has not been regularly ridden in the past year, but is now being ridden and lounged bi-weekly and is doing great. Good home is a MUST!! ABSOLUTLY NO FIRST TIME HORSE OWNERS and must be a FOREVER home.
