Kika7 (means little girl) is the first known cross of a Canadian Horse with a Lipizzan. Her sire is dressage champion Siglavy Americana, located in BC Canada.
Her "thing" is turning on her haunches and does this with ease and speed! She really gets those back legs under her. Lots of impulsion.
She is out of my registered Canadian mare, Brigadier Grace. Kika 7 is eligible for double registration with LANA and CLRC. We are currently in the process of getting her LANA registration.
PS. We sold her half sister to a dressage home for over $10,000.
Kika is a brilliant horse. I call her the "Border Collie" of horses. She has wonderful conformation, but is the type of horse that needs a job to do.
She looks more like the Lipizzan horse than anything and absolutely loves attention. She is a lead mare.
I can't say enough about this girl...please call me if your seriously interested in this special girl.
She would suit a junior novice or smaller adult because of her smaller features, but she has that "pizzaz" that will get you noticed in the dressage ring. Would look sharp in harness too.
She should go to a dressage home as she is made for it. She shows all the qualities of the Lipizzan in natural gaits.
I am an artist and I use her photos mostly to paint from. She has such energy , expressiveness and love of life. To a good home only!
Training; Kika has been started on the lunge line, using natural horsemanship methods. She is very light and willing but cannot and willnot allow you to force her to do anything. Like I said...she's too smart for that.
Kika is good for farrier and vet and UTD with everything.
She will be started under saddle and in harness August 2011 if she does not sell and her price will continue to go up with training.
This is a chance to own a great, one-of-a-kind horse that will wow everyone. Last to pics are her Sire and Dam
