Quarter horse needs good home!
I discovered about 5 years ago that Charley is blind in his left eye. I stopped riding him at that point. I was originally looking for a retirement home for him but the more people I talk to - the more I am hearing how common this is & a lot of people still ride their horses. It wasn't worth it to me to risk hitting the ground (I'm over 40.) Charley is free to a good home but I do want to know he has a forever home - not someone that will just auction him off to make a buck. I got him from a friend who got him at an auction - clearly someone not disclosing his faults & just looking to unload him. He is a sweetheart but does not load well. I can only imagine he has been through several homes. I've had him for 10 years - it kills me to have to find a home for him again. We are moving & can't take him.
