Main stud book Hanoverian mare with excellent breeding. Dahlia is a Great-granddaughter of Donnerhall and Maat I on sire’s side and Bolero on dam’s side. Dahlia’s sire, Davginport, has been ranked 4th out of 127 stallions by the USDF based on the success of his offspring in dressage. This ranking also included European stallions producing dressage horses in the U.S. He has also competed successful at Prix St. Georges and Intermediate. According to High Point Hanoverians “he won every Intermediaire he entered under Olympic rider Bent Jensen.” Davginport scored a jumping index of 109.56/9 and a riding index of 101.18/12 in his stallion performance test.
Dahlia has produced two foals, one by cooled semen and the other by frozen. She settled after the first insemination with one dose of frozen semen. Both of her foals are excellent movers with good temperaments. Her 2009 foal was conceived by cooled semen, and is a leopard Appaloosa sport horse filly. She inherited her mother’s moment with plenty of suspension and extension. She has excellent balance for her age. Dahlia’s 2010 foal ,Fritz, is a chestnut colt by the Hanoverian stallion Walldorf. He is a 10 mover with a great personality and lots of chrome.
