Extraordinary Commercial Horse Farm located thirteen miles north of Greensboro, seventeen miles south of Virginia and fifteen miles from Piedmont Triad International Airport. Additionally, for the sake of convenience, the farm is two hours from the Lexington Horse Park in VA and a mere 1.5 hours from Southern Pines, NC.
This “one of a kind” horse facility consists of 31 acres with an adjoining 58 acres that may be leased or purchased. The farm was originally designed and built in the 1980’s by the Stanley furniture folks for their well bred Arabians. The covered arena, measuring 100’ x 200’ is constructed with bleachers to accommodate 700 people and Hollywood stage lighting on pulleys was installed for a better presentation of horses during the elaborate show horse auctions. The two main barns include wash stalls, tack rooms, public rest rooms with showers, abundant office space, a 60’ x 160’ indoor arena and lounge area. The property has a one mile exercise track which is large enough to accommodate carriages. There are seven pastures with water to each. Adjoining one of the pastures is a generous pond that is stocked, for those relaxing Sunday afternoon private fishing excursions with family and friends.
The main residence is a Georgian style 3600 square foot, four bedroom, three bath home with many recent up-dates. A modular home is conveniently located next to the covered arena inclusive of four bedrooms and two full baths on the main level and more two lower level walk out apartments of one bedroom each. Both of which were recently renovated. Additionally, the farm boasts a two bedroom one bath apartment in Barn B and a manufactured home to house working students and laborers. All currently rented.
This extensive and ever so complete facility is designed for any number of professional horse operations. Because of the farm’s ideal location, the property is well suited as an instructional, training, breeding and boarding facility, horse show complex, auction, clinic and sales barn……or a combination of all. |
