The Whistling Wings Ranch is a working cattle ranch with a commercial cattle load-out facility and a 20,000 lb scale, a 700 acre Jigs hay operation all irrigatable, and with a 500 acre rice base.
One 12” re-lift pump producing 3000 gpm, two 10” 300 ft. wells producing 2500 gpm, one 8” 300 ft. well producing 2000 gpm and two 4” 140 ft wells.
There is a 1200 sq. ft. lodge with complete kitchen and large dining area, a large 20x20 sq. ft. living area with TV and dry bar and a large 20x20 sq. ft. loft/game room with pool table. There are three 700 sq. ft. cabins capable of sleeping four with full bath.
Whistling Wings Ranch & Duck Club is also one of the finest, well organized duck hunting clubs in Texas.
They are currently working with Ducks Unlimited, TX Parks & Wildlife and the Private Lands Advisory Board, it received the coveted “Outstanding Lone Star Land Steward Award for Gulf and Marshes” in 2004.
Property has over 300 acres of water in 13 ponds, and over 400 acres of woods with over 50 pits or blinds. |
